I refused, “I won’t go back.”
“Monica!”
Harley’s voice suddenly rose and his tone. was irritable. “I’ve let you rest for so long, what are you still dissatisfied with? Do you really think I can’t live without you?”
“Of course, I can leave.” I said coldly and mockingly, “So, don‘ t call me again. It’s very annoying.”
“You…” Harley was about to get angry when suddenly Harvey opened the door and called me.
“Monica, are you okay?”
I looked back and saw Harvey pointing at the data in his hand with a serious face. “Let’s seize the time and do it again.”
The corridor was quiet and his voice. sounded particularly clear.

On the phone next to his ear, Harley roared, “Who is he? Monica, what are you doing with other men?!”
Harley was so angry that he roared so hard that my eardrums hurt.
I hung up the phone immediately.
Harvey seemed to have done something wrong, his face full of shame. “I’m sorry, did I disturb you?”
“Tsk.” I knocked on his head and
pretended to be angry. “Did you just call me informally?”
He scratched his head and smiled. “I forgot in a hurry.”
I took the information from him and discussed with him the problems that arose during the test run.
“There is a high probability that the car‘ s power system needs to be improved. I will adjust the data and you can try again. later.”

“Okay.” Harvey agreed readily, paused and tentatively asked, “Shall we have dinner together tonight?”
I looked at the clock and the amount of
work remaining, unsure.
“I still need to tune up the car.”
“I’ll accompany you.” Harvey was visibly happy, following behind me.
He was really passionate about racing.
I patted his shoulder appreciatively and encouraged, “Come on, you will definitely have a bright future in the future.”
Harvey’s eyes were bright and the tips of his ears were stained with a blush.
Well, he was just too shy.
As for Harley, I thought we would have no more entanglements in the future.
Unexpectedly, it backfired.
On this day, I finally got home from get off work normally.

As soon as I got out of the elevator, there was a faint smell of tobacco in the air.
Harley stood at the door of my apartment, eyes narrowed by the light.
When I got closer, I noticed that his eye sockets were sunken and his chin had green stubble. He was completely different from his usual bright and cool image.
When Harley saw me, he immediately put out his cigarette and threw it into the trash
can.
I passed him, opened the door and walked straight into the house.
He grabbed my arm and said, “Monica!”
“Let go!” I threw away his hand in disgust and glanced at him distantly.
“Why are you running to my door?”
Harley stared at me with stern eyes. “Go back with me.”
I sneered, feeling incredible.

Seeing me like this, Harley poured himself a glass of water and sat on the sofa.
