Chapter 6
I was with Elliott for a whole fifteen years. Graham was his childhood friend, and Amelie was my sister, so they naturally met a few times.
Amelie didn’t have a good expression toward Graham either, “Do you still have something to do?
Graham, “After all, he is the child’s biological father. As long as he genuinely cares for the child, there is nothing wrong with the child being with him.”
“Sincerity? Does he have it? When Elleen had an accident, she called him more than ten times. Did he answer even one? Now that Eileen is dead, he is trying to take away the child shamelessly!”
This remark reminded me of the car accident before I died.
1 was trapped in the car, overwhelmed by immense fear, and the only person I could think of to ask for help was Elliott.
At that time, it had been less than half a year since I divorced him, and he was caught up in the joy of getting rid of me.
I called him more than ten times, but he didn’t answer any of them.
Finally, the phone was turned off.

Elliott waited for him in the car outside, smoking one cigarette after another.
After Graham got in the car, he asked him, “What are you planning to do next?”
“Let’s go to the cemetery first and have a look.”
What are you looking at? Don’t believe that I really died, do you want to dig up my ashes and take a Jook?
Elliott stood in front of my tombstone, reading every word on it carefully, and after
double–checking, he finally realized
I really died, died five years ago.

Ale seemed to have received a huge shock, and his whole body shook.
Graham quickly reached out to support him and asked, “Are you okay?”
Elliott did not react.
After a while, he said to Graham, “I want to be alone for a while.”
Graham knew that he definitely had something to say to me.
Repentance?
Then I must listen carefully.
Elliott began speaking to my tombstone about our past.
When they had just graduated, both of them had no money, so they shared an egg to eat.
They say egg yolk is more nutritious, so in order to make him feel at ease, I said that I didn’t like
eating egg yolk.
Once upon a time, the two of them were passing the egg yolk back and forth, and it fell on the ground.
He quickly picked it up and said, “If you pick it up within three seconds after it falls on the ground,
it’s not dirty.”
laughed heartily, and in the end, I laughed so hard that tears streamed down my face.
He also cried along, saying that he had no ability and couldn’t provide me with a comfortable life.
But later on, we had houses and cars, and the balance in our accounts increased day by day.
His love for me, however, diminished day by day.
“Eileen, you have become uglier and uglier now!”
“Are you sick for crying all day long? Who can tolerate someone like you? Divorce!”
“Don’t give me all this talk about dying or living, if you have the guts, go die for real!”
Now that his dream has come true, why is he still crying in front of my tombstone?
