Elliott’s illness worsened over time, and during moments of anger, he would harm Katelyn. There was one instance where he kicked Katelyn so hard that he broke her ribs.
When he was depressed, he would harm himself, slapping himself wildly in the middle of the night, and weeping bitterly in front of my photo.
I have to praise Amelie; her trick of winning people’s hearts is really impressive.
Elliott may not have sincerely admitted his mistake, but he certainly felt guilty and remorseful.
As he revisited the various experiences we had over the past fifteen years, his psychological defenses crumbled.

A month later, Elliott committed suicide by burning charcoal.
