Dione crumpled to the floor, clutching at Nolan‘ s pant leg. “Brother–in–law, you can’t be this cruel! I’m carrying your child.”

More and more people gathered around, each ready to add to her humiliation.
Dione stumbled, attempting to flee, but misstepped and tumbled down the stairs.
Bright red blood began to pool beneath her, and she let out a piercing scream for help.
