After leaving my house, my friend kept texting me. My phone was in Rosie’s pocket, vibrating constantly. Perhaps Rosie was afraid that my friend would report to the police, so she stealthily replied.
Blake: [Everything is fine. Don’t worry.]
It was completely unlike the way I would speak, so my friend bombarded my phone with replies.
Rosie got a bit scared and turned off my phone, hiding it in the toilet tank before following my father on their vacation abroad. I joined them.
Aside from going around, my father also took Queenie to the hospital. Her pregnancy was unplanned, but since she got pregnant, he hoped it would be a boy. The domestic hospitals could not determine the baby’s gender, so they decided to check it while they were abroad.
When they found out it was a boy, my father was so happy that he seemed to have suddenly gotten ten years younger. “Good! I’ll name him Leif. He’ll inherit my fortune in the future.”
My father and Queenie returned to the hotel with glowing faces. That was also when Rosie just got back from shopping. My father had given her a card to spend freely. When she saw their happy expressions, she casually asked what had happened.
“Rosie, you’re going to have a little brother! When you get married, he’ll be able to protect you.” They were so absorbed in their joy that they did not notice Rosie’s stiff expression.
“Are you sure it’s a boy?” Rosie asked.
“Yes, the doctor said it’s a boy. I’ll have a successor,” my father answered.
Rosie forced a smile. “Congratulations, Mom and Mr. Xavier. I’m going to be a big sister.”
The room was filled with joy and laughter, but I knew that this seemingly harmonious family of three each
had skeletons in their closets.
On the day they returned to the country, there was a rare heavy rain. The temperature dropped, seemingly dissipating some of the stench in the villa. New helpers had already arrived, but no one had set foot in the
garage yet.
It was already nighttime when the family got home.
Rosie came to my room late at night. Everything inside was just as it was. She changed into my clothes before walking into the garage. Wearing a hat and mask, she drove away in one of the cars.
Queenie visited the beauty salon on a fixed day every month. After she left the salon one day, a car suddenly appeared in front of hers, heading straight for it.
Queenie’s driver was experienced and immediately dodged it, but the accelerating to ram into their car.
r car was relentless,
Queenie had put on her seatbelt and was not seriously injured, but the other car slowly backed up before ramming forward again.
After being hit a dozen times, the driver was already knocked unconscious. Queenie, in the back seat, also started clutching her stomach while groaning.

Only then did the other person stop their actions and drive away in the car with a severely damaged front
The driver was Rosie, but she was wearing my clothes, a hat, and a mask, so no one could recognize her.
Upon hearing that Queenie had been hit, my father immediately rushed to the hospital, However, the doctor informed him when he arrived that the baby in Queenie’s womb was gone. Besides that, her ute had to be removed due to severe bleeding.
“Who? Who did it?” My father’s eyes turned bloodshot when he heard the news. He roared in the hospital ward, tears faintly visible at the corners of his eyes.
Then, his phone suddenly buzzed. It was a WhatsApp message from “me“.
Blake: [Old fool, the family fortune is mine. Dream on if you’re thinking of giving it to that slut.]
It was undoubtedly a text message claiming responsibility for the accident.
My father’s voice trembled when he shouted my name, “Blake Xavier! Call the police immediately to arrest Blake! She’s a murderer! I want her to pay for this with her life!” A single tear slipped from the corner of his eye once he finished speaking.
What on earth was he crying for? Was he mourning the son he never met, or was he wailing for me, his ruthless daughter?
His secretary immediately took action, and the police soon arrived at the hospital to begin their investigation. The dash cam recorded the license plate number of the car that caused the accident. Once the police checked it, they found that the car belonged to our family. It undoubtedly increased their suspicion of me.
Now that they had solid evidence, they just needed to find me.
