The doctors yelled at him to get help, but he
refused, and ran to the mountain cabin where
he had left Brittany for 5 months.
He didn’t bring anything, to punish himself.
He wandered in the mountains.
He had to eat gross bugs to survive.
One day, he slipped and broke his leg.
He crawled into a cave, and saw the carvings
that Brittany had made.

There was blood on the tally marks.
Chad collapsed to the floor, and cried.
“I’m sorry Brittany, I’m so sorry.”
He thought his sins had been atoned, but they
hadn’t.
Chad took the same path Brittany did.
After Brittany’s body passed, she became a
ghost that floated around Chad.
