The wedding was nearly ready. It would begin
soon.
Ethan’s company was finished. He held me in
his arms.

Before I could answer, a group of men in
black suits interrupted the wedding.
Tiffany, in a wedding dress, walked to the
front.
“Ethan, marry me! I have everything the
company needs, my Dad left everything to
me.”
“Are you not done! I will call security!” Ethan
was upset.
“You have nothing, what can you do?” Tiffany
continued.

“Let’s shut down her company and Chad’s.”
“Haha! That is so funny! You can’t do
anything! Just go hide with your boyfriend!”
No one believed me.
Ben, at the front, stood and left the building,
making a phone call.
To stop people from getting hurt, we stopped
the wedding. Everything was a mess.
We were upset. But it was Ethan’s Mom who
was the saddest.
“Tiffany, why would you do this!”
“Because of you, you old hag! You let her into
your house, you broke your promise. You are
a liar!”
Ethan’s Mom collapsed.
Tiffany kept attacking us.
But she never got a hit in.
She was trying to stab me with a knife, when
the police showed up.

We went to the police station. We wanted to

was as obnoxious as ever, legs crossed,
looking around the police station.
“It’s fifty thousand dollars. If you pay Ms.
Riley and Mr. Ethan, they might forgive you
and you can leave. If not, it’s a three–day
stay in a cell.”
“Fifty thousand? No problem, I’ll call the bank
and transfer the money right now.”
I watched Tiffany make the call, wondering if
her cards even still worked.
Ben was efficient. Tiffany’s company should
be belly up by now.
“What? My card’s frozen?!” Tiffany yelled in
anger. It was so annoying that she was
delaving the payment.

Tiffany tried another card and then another,
but they were all blocked. A hint of panic
flashed across her face.
She called Chad. “Chad! I’m at the police
station! Bring $50k to bail me out, or I’m
getting thrown in jail!”
Tiffany was getting more and more antsy as
she sat in the chair.
We waited while she tried to get her money
together.
After about an hour, Chad arrived.
Tiffany saw Chad’s car and turned to us. “So

Usually, she didn’t use such a cringey pet
name. She definitely wanted his help.
She opened her arms for a hug.
But instead of an embrace, Chad slapped her
hard across the face with his headphones.
Tiffany clutched her cheek, staring at Chad,
shocked.
“It’s all your fault! Who did you piss off! Now
you ruined my company too!” He was so
angry, he wanted to kill her.

again, the police stopped him.
Chad, satisfied, had gotten what he wanted,
and would settle the score with Tiffany later.
He left. The police knew Tiffany wasn’t going
to pay up.
