I stayed in the hospital, bustling around all night. When my parents heard about it, they
rushed to the hospital, too. They finally relaxed when they made sure I was okay.
Donna’s surgery took several hours. When she was wheeled out, her whole body was
wrapped in bandages, with only her eyes showing.

Susan rushed back from Seabay, and Yohan, of course, came with her. When they met, the
excitement on their faces was hard to hide.
After all, there was still a huge pool of blood outside the door that hadn’t been cleaned up,
and they could imagine how badly I was hurt.
The two soon arrived at the hospital. Before they entered the ward, they ran into my parents
outside.
Yohan immediately put on a solemn expression and asked, “How is Violet? Is she okay?”
I had already told my parents in advance what to do, so they didn’t say much and just
patted him on the shoulder, saying, “Go and see for yourself.”
The two walked in and saw what looked like a mummy lying on the hospital bed.
When Donna saw Susan walking in, she immediately widened her eyes, and a hoarse voice
came from her throat.
“Violet, how could you be hurt so badly?” Yohan stepped forward and feigned concern for a
bit and then got to the point right away.
He said, “Susan rushed back overnight when she heard you were hurt. Don’t be too harsh on
her, okay?”
Susan stood beside him, her eyes red from crying. She took Donna’s bandage–wrapped
hand and said, “Violet, I’m so sorry. Debra was always so obedient. I don’t know why she turned
out like this.”
Hearing this, Donna was so angry that she almost spat blood, but she couldn’t say anything. All that came out was a growl from her throat as she yanked her hand back.
Seeing this, Yohan stood up and accused the person on the bed. “It must be the way you fed Debra that made it bite you. It’s your fault. You’re just injured, but Debra lost her life.”
Donna had never expected Yohan to say such things. She stared at him with her eyes wide
open, and her voice became even shriller. “Get out! You… you two!”
Seeing that she wouldn’t let it go, Yohan decided to give her the final blow. He took out a mirror and held it up to her. “Look at yourself now. Your face is all mangled by the dog. Who else
would want you besides me? I’m even scared to look at you. I’d have nightmares. If I were you, I
couldn’t live like this. It’d be better to die than to be so hideous.”
Yohan kept humiliating the person on the bed, wishing she would die from anger after
hearing these words so that he could achieve his goal.
Just then, I walked in carrying a thermos. “Honey, what are you mumbling about?”
