Hearing the familiar name, Yohan blurted out subconsciously, “What?”
The nurse was startled. “Are you a family member of the patient?”
Yohan didn’t answer her question but instead loudly asked, “What did you say her name
was?”
The nurse answered, “Donna. Isn’t the name posted at the head of the bed? Look for yourself.” Hearing this, Yohan rushed to the end of the bed. Sure enough, he saw his mother’s name. “Mom? Is that you? Mom?” He leaned closer to Donna, trying to confirm once again.
“Mrs. Donna Coleman? How could it be Mrs. Donna Coleman? It isn’t right.” Susan was tunned.
The situation had gone beyond their expectations and was spiraling out of control.
At that moment, Susan suddenly saw me, shouting, “Violet, did you do this on purpose? Why is Mrs. Donna Coleman the one who got hurt?”
She was trying to shift the blame onto me.
I wiped the tears from the corner of my eyes. “I was shopping with Mrs. Donna Coleman. I got a call in the car and remembered that I had forgotten to feed Debra, so I took her with me. I never thought Debra would be so fierce and directly knock Mrs. Donna Coleman down.”
“Why didn’t you say so just now?” shouted Yohan in despair.
I retorted, “If it were someone else, why would I take care of her in person? It’s because she’s your mom. I’ve been taking care of her all night. Where were you, her son? How dare you blame me?”

I shouted, “What kind of dog did you raise? It bit Yohan’s mother like this. You did it on
purpose. I think you had evil intentions. How dare you bring a fierce dog into the city? I’m calling the police to arrest you.”
I had been in the boxing club in college. Susan was no match for me, and she let out a series
of screams from being beaten.
When Yohan saw his sweetheart being beaten, he rushed to help. I gave him a kick where it
would hurt the most.
I said, “Tell me. Why are you two here together? Have you been having an affair behind my
back? Yohan, I’m here taking care of your mom in the hospital, and you’re out fooling around‘ D
My heroic act of fighting two people at once successfully attracted people from the
surrounding wards to watch the show. I threw all the blame on these two.
I continued, “You sc*mbag. Your mom lying in the hospital bed is your karma.”
