The smirking Song snapped his fingers, and a
dozen goons in black suits materialized out of
nowhere.
Crystal still didn’t get it. She started screeching, “Song, have you lost your mind? I’m going to be Mrs. Sterling. Blake invited me here to thank me. If you touch me, he’ll have your head!”

Her words set off a round of mocking laughter
from the goons.
When they’d had their fun, Song told her, “You? Marry our boss? Get real. You think Sterling didn’t know who set up his wife’s accident? Frankly, the second you showed up, he knew. We’ve spent the last few days gathering evidence and witnesses. Today, we’re settling the score, not saying thank you.”
Hearing this, Mom and Dad turned white as a sheet, but they still tried to play it off. “You’re making this up! What accident? What evidence?
You can’t say these things. My daughter tried to
save Sterling’s wife, but they’re slandering her,
we’re getting out of here.”
They grabbed Crystal’s hands and pulled her
towards the other direction.
It turns out these goons are stronger, and

Mom and Dad were hugging Crystal. “This is
illegal, I’m going to sue you guys!”
Song looked down at them. “Sue us? You aren’t
leaving.”
These goons came towards them and pushed
them to the ground.
Crystal still didn’t want to believe it. “Song, if
you hurt me, Blake will never forgive you. He’s
been texting me everyday, saying he
appreciates me, how could he do this?”
Song just smiled, pulled out his phone, and
showed her the screen. “You wouldn’t be
talking about this, would you? It wasn’t actually
Blake, just some tech guy that we paid.

The three of them are scared, but they still
speak.

Crystal’s voice was shaking. “You knew and you
didn’t call the cops?”
Song sneered. “What do you think?”
Finally, she realized what was happening.
If the cops got involved, the worst they’d get
was prison. But, to Blake, that was too lenient.
“This is too nice.” Song coldly said. “How’d you
even find the guts to go after the boss’s wife?
Blake would do anything for her, anyone who
even looks at her wrong goes straight to the
boss’s shit list.”
Crystal was too scared.

Mom and Dad, however, were confused. “You
can’t do illegal shit! You’ll get jail time too!”
I couldn’t help but laugh. “Can’t you hear?
They’re never getting caught.”
