Hearing the words “paternity test,” Brenda looked terrified, but still nodded.
She rolled her eyes at me, but I didn’t care.
Mark now thought that Brenda wasn’t lying to him, and that she was pregnant with his child.
Then he went back to the hospital, to babysit Brenda.
I left, to enjoy my life.
If Mark wanted to be an idiot, that was his choice.
These last few days, I was creating the biggest plan for Mark.
He loved to watch gossip videos on his phone, so I reached out to his favorite YouTuber, and submitted a story.

That night, Mark came back from the hospital,
and started to look at his phone.
I sat next to him, drinking a beer and looking at
Mark.
He saw the video, and turned up the volume.
I heard the creator talking about deadbeats.
“This guy wanted to have kids with his wife for
many years.
They were finally pregnant with twins!
He was so happy, and treats his wife like a god.
When the babies were born, the man found out that their blood types didn’t match his.
He did a paternity test, and found out that the
twins were his wife’s, but not his.

He discovered that his body wasn’t producing
sperm.
He had been cheated on.”
Mark was worried.
The character in the story had been in a very
similar situation.
Mark and Brenda had been trying to get
pregnant for five years.
Until, they were pregnant.
Mark stopped, and asked me “Mom, I don’t
have any problems, right?”

I asked “Mark, what are you talking about?”
“Well, when you were younger, you had some
problems in that area. The doctor said it was

something we could take care of, and now you don’t have any problems now!”
I could see the doubt on his face, and I smiled.
The next day, my friend told me Mark was at the hospital.
I didn’t act surprised.
I took the food I had brought, and went to the
hospital.
When I got to the door, I heard yelling.
The main characters were Brenda and Mark.
I didn’t go in, but waited outside to hear more.
Brenda was yelling “Mark, you’re a crazy idiot!
You’re an idiot, and can’t produce. I wasted five
years of my life with you!”
