Tony froze.
Sarah started to cry.
“Mrs. Moretti, I bet my life every day! I don’t
ask that you appreciate what I do. But at
least, how can you be so heartless?”
Tony let go of my hand, and threw the
medicine cabinet in front of me.
“Jenny, you can act recklessly when you
want, but Sarah takes her job seriously!
You’re going too far!
I bit my lip.
He got angrier, and put the medicine cabinet
in front of me.
“Put medicine on Sarah! If you could do it
before, why can’t you do it now? Jenny, have
I been too nice to you, and made you feel like
you can do whatever you want?”
I just had one thought:
Leave!
But Tony blocked me, ice cold. “Jenny, you
need to realize that I am in charge of this
family!”
“Don’t forget, all the shares that your dad
gave to you are now in my hands!”
I laughed, and started picking up the medicine
cabinet. “Okay, I’ll put medicine on her, but
return the shares to me.”
I now realized I was stupid for giving him the
shares.
Tony froze.
Sarah was smug.
I picked up the medicine cabinet, and started
putting medicine on Sarah’s wound.
I was so cold, it was the end.
He bit his lip tightly.
“Jenny, that’s not what I meant, the shares
are originally yours.”
“Now that I’ve put on the medicine, and the
shares are already mine, give it back to me!”
He looked away.
I turned away, and left the resort.
Tony got back to the house, and started
walking around.
I saw him finally turn around and walk to me.

Jenny, I was too impulsive, and I shouldn’t
have gotten mad at you, but there’s a party
that just came up, and when I get back, you
can punish me. Sound good?”
I looked at him, but started thinking, you were
going to make me step down anyway.
Late at night, I went to the party without

I wanted to know for sure.
The party was done, and I headed to the
highest floor, going into the room.
I saw Tony and Sarah, and knew what they
were doing.
I went behind the corner.
“Sarah, I only love you. Don’t be sad.”
“If it wasn’t for Jenny, you would’ve been my
wife.”
Tony started kissing Sarah’s neck.
I heard Sarah say something to him.
“Don’t worry, I’m just happy to be here with
you.”
She pulled him to the bed.
As they were there, I started feeling
nauseous.
He got up and walked to me.
He let go of Sarah, and started heading to
me, so I ran to the stairs.
He was getting faster and faster, so I ran into
a room.
I had no idea what to expect, I had a gun held
at me.
