Amanda let out a small snort, wiped her greasy fingers on a napkin, did a quick divination, and said to Maeve, “Your sister’s out of danger now, don’t worry. But you better start making some money. Her medical bills are gonna be a lot.”
After all, the country her sister was in had sky–high healthcare costs
Maeve already knew that. But as long as her sister survived, she didn’t care how much it cost
Once Amanda got the good news, she relaxed and moved on to her next caller.
As soon as the guy popped up on screen, the viewers recognized him.
Viewer A: [Wait, isn’t this Philip Baker? Hector Baker’s father?]
Viewer B: [Yeah, I know him too. His son got kidnapped ten years ago. He sold everything and has been looking for him ever since. Man, he’s a poor guy.]
Viewer C[Please let him find his son. I can’t even look at this without tearing up.]
While the chat was buzzing. Amanda studied Philip’s face and couldn’t help sighing to herself. ‘Such a poor man. He’s only in his thirties and looks like he’s in his fifties.

He never believed in this fortune–telling stuff at first, but after what he just saw with Maeve and her sister, hope flared up in his chest. Thinking it cost just one dollar, he decided to give it a shot. It was nothing compared to the chance to know the truth.
Seeing Amanda’s expression, he couldn’t help feeling nervous.
Amanda shook her head and said, “No, it’s not that.”
She adjusted her tone–she didn’t want her face to be misread and scared this poor father half to death
“You’re looking for your son, right?” she asked.
“Yes. I just want to know… is he still alive?” Philip asked, his voice tight with emotion, his eyes already turning red.
Amanda looked him over and nodded. “He’s alive”
Philip let out a sharp breath, as if someone had been holding him underwater and finally let him up.
He then said. “If you can help me find him, I’ll do anything you ask.”
Amanda waved it off. “No need. You already paid for the divination. Nothing more is needed. Alright, send me your son’s info.”
Philip immediately did Amanda glanced at it, divined for a moment, and gave him a location.
Philip checked the location on the map, feeling confused. “Ms. Corkery, are you sure? Could there be a mistake?”
The location was a small town less than 15 miles from where he was now. He couldn’t believe it. He’d spent years crisscrossing the country looking for his son, and how could he be this close?
Amanda didn’t reply. Instead, she raised her hand and traced something in the air–no one knew what–but Philip felt his eyes go a little warm and tingly.
Amanda said, “That is a Family–seeking Talisman. When you get there, don’t think about anything else, just focus on your son. Let your instincts guide you. Stay calm. That’s the key. Now, get going.
Before Philip could respond, Amanda ended the call and moved on to the next one
The viewers were all stunned. A bunch of people even headed over to DM Philip, curious to see if he could really find his son.
Some were worried he wouldn’t believe Amanda and sent him private messages explaining all the amazing things Amanda had predicted recently, begging him to go.
Philip saw those messages and made up his mind. He had planned to go anyway. No matter the results, he had to try.
Philip didn’t hesitate for even a second. He jumped in his car and headed straight for the town Amanda mentioned. According to the viewers’s request, he started livestreaming on the way.
The map only pointed out the town, not the exact house. While he was thinking about what to do next, he suddenly remembered Amanda’s instructions. “Don’t think about anything else, just focus on your son. Let your instincts guide you
He took a deep breath and cleared his mind. Then, out of nowhere, he felt a strong pull like something tugging at his gut. The car turned left on its own, then straight, then a right, and another left….
Philip didn’t say a word the entire way. That strange sense of direction kept growing stronger, and so did his heartbeat.
Suddenly, the car stopped in front of a house. Something in him screamed that it was the place he was looking for.
Right at that moment, the door opened, and a skinny boy about fifteen stepped our with a basket on his back.
Seeing the boy’s face, Philip froze. The boy’s face looked so much like him and his wife.
Philip’s whole body shook as he blurted out. Hector.
The boy named Andrew Gomez paused his steps and instinctively answered, “Yeah?”
The second it left his mouth, even he looked stunned, as if the name stirred something deep inside.
Philip couldn’t hold back anymore. Tears streamed down his face as he ran forward and hugged the boy tight. “Hector, I’m your father.”
That moment had the viewers in tears. Most of them had heard Philip’s story over the years. They sympathized with him and even grieved for him. And now, finally, a decade–long nightmare had come to an end.
They couldn’t help but praise Amanda again–one more lost soul reunited, one more broken family healed.
Knowing Philip would find his son, Amanda didn’t stay to watch. She calmly connected with the next caller. And the moment that person showed up, her expression instantly soured.
The person looked like a total gentleman–wearing glasses, with a mild face, looking very polite.
But Amanda saw clearly that standing behind him was a female ghost. She was furious, hateful, staring at him like she wanted to tear him apart.
As for the man himself, he was covered in a killing air, the kind only murderers carried.
The man, Jerry Lynn, looked at Amanda and smiled, “Ms. Corkery, I heard you’re good at divination. Can you help me find my wife?
Amanda tapped her fingers on the table and lifted her chin. “She’s right behind you.”
Jerry laughed and said, “That’s impossible.”
He knew clearly that his wife was already dead. The thought made him lick his lips, and a cold gleam flashed in his eyes. Amanda stared him down and said in a serious tone, Turn around. She’s hitting you on the head right now.”
Jerry suddenly felt a chill, like something icy sliding over his skull.
Meanwhile, Sandra Lynn looked at Amanda in shock and thought, ‘She can see me?
Seeing Jerry still didn’t move, Amanda added, “She’s getting impatient, you know. She’s been calling your name over and over. Can’t you hear her?”
With a flick of her finger, Amanda triggered something. And right then, Jerry heard his wife’s voice. Sandra whispered right in Jerry’s car, “Honey, look at me.”
Jerry’s whole body was frozen. Slowly, he turned around, and he saw a bloody face staring straight at him. He instantly let out
a scream.
