Sarah was almost fully recovered.
The Williams hadn’t visited.
We didn’t ask them to pay for anything, and
they never came.
I didn’t care anymore, I was about to ruin
them.
“Brother, my classmates are talking about
you.”
“Really? What are they saying?”
“You’re brave. They wish they had a brother
like you.”
I loved hearing that.
“Wendy used to pick on them too, but no one
helped them.”
“The teachers didn’t do anything?”
Sarah shook her head. “Wendy gets good

grades, so they ignore her.”
“Ignoring it is another kind of bullying,” I said.
“Sarah, don’t worry. Wendy won’t be at school
anymore.”
“What are you going to do?”
“Put on a show,” I said.
