Aiden picked up his head, and our eyes met before his gaze lowered to my hand that was placed over my stomach. He straightened up, anger wirling in his eyes.
I thought he would send more pain my way, but I was proved wrong. The pain started to disappear as if he was consciously blocking it from reaching me.
I sighed a breath of relief as the pressure on my muscles eased. I could finally move without feeling like I could fall dead at any moment
